Basics
Templates, plans & billing
Two things people want to know before committing an afternoon: is there something I can start from, and what does this cost. Short answers: yes, and nothing unless you choose Pro.
The cost figures on this page are computed by the product’s own pricing code from real token counts rather than estimated, and the sources are linked below so you can check them.
I built these plan limits, and the spend ceiling is the half I would want explained first, so it is spelled out below rather than left in a footnote.
Start from a template
The Marketplace has ready-made agents and workflows. Use Template creates an agent in your account immediately; Fork makes you a private, editable copy of the template itself. Both beat a blank Configuration box, because a prompt that already works tells you more than an empty one.
Whatever you start from, edit its system_prompt — the author wrote it for their business. Full walkthrough: How to use and customize a marketplace template.
Free versus Pro
| Free | Pro — $29/month | |
|---|---|---|
| Card needed | No | Yes, for the trial |
| Agents and sequential workflows | Yes | Yes |
| Parallel, conditional, fan-out, loop, dependency graphs | — | Yes |
| Runs a day on our AI key | 100 | 1,000 |
| Usage a day on our AI key | $0.50 | $2.00 |
| Advanced analytics, per-run cost, CSV export | — | Yes |
| Use, fork and publish templates | Yes | Yes |
The limit that is not the run count
There are two daily ceilings on our AI key and the first one reached stops the next run — a run count and a spend figure. A worked support-ticket example comes to $0.0144 at our real rates, so a hundred of those fit inside the free $0.50. The most expensive agents we ship cost around 11 cents a run, and five of those spend the free day. The run count on its own would not have warned you.
Removing both limits
Add your own Anthropic or OpenAI key under Account → Integrations. Runs on your own key are not capped by count or by spend, you pay the provider directly, and we do not mark up tokens.
Publishing is not a Pro feature
You can publish a template on either plan. It is created as pending and goes through a review before appearing in the marketplace. Pro adds orchestration modes and analytics, not the right to publish.
The Pro trial
Pro starts with a 10-day trial. Your card is saved at checkout, nothing is charged until the trial ends, and cancelling before then costs you nothing. Cancelling later stops the next renewal and you keep Pro until the period you paid for runs out, then drop to Free rather than to nothing.
Manage everything under Billing — upgrade, open the Paddle customer portal for invoices, or cancel. Source: the refund policy is the binding version of the 14-day refund promise, and it is short.
